1925 Oliver 30" band saw

This is an Oliver 117-D 30" band saw.  It was built in May of 1925 and weighs 1500 pounds.

The blade tensioning and tracking mechanism.  Built strong to last long.

The motor slides into the base; the lower wheel is mounted directly onto the motor shaft.  The table tilt mechanism can be seen in the upper left corner.

Original G.E. fused motor starter.
